Q) Who can register to play Find Santa?

A) Find Santa is open to lift professionals in the UK and Ireland. It is exclusively open to lift installation and maintenance company employees, self-employed lift engineers, and lift consultants in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

Q) Can I register more than once?

A) No, Find Santa is limited to one entry per person. To make the prize draw fair, using multiple identities, email addresses, or entries on behalf of another person is not permitted. It may result in your exclusion from the Competition. For more information, please see our terms and conditions.

Q) I’ve registered but have not received my verification email. Can I still play?

A) All players must be verified by our terms and conditions. Please check your junk mailbox or other email security platforms if your verification link has not arrived. We recommend adding info@shorts-lifts.co.uk to your safe senders list. If you still have issues, please contact us at info@shorts-lifts.co.uk.

Q) What should I do if the email address I entered is not recognised?

A) If the email address you entered is not recognised, here’s what you can do:

  • Double-check the email address for typos or errors and try entering it again.
  • Check if you have registered using a different email address.
  • If you have not registered yet, visit shorts-lifts.co.uk/findsanta to complete the registration process.

Q) What should I do if I haven’t received my Find Santa entry ID?

A) If you haven’t received your Find Santa entry ID, make sure you are fully verified. Check your emails, including your junk folder, for any messages related to the verification process. If the issue persists, please contact us at info@shorts-lifts.co.uk for further assistance.

Q) Why is Find Santa not allowing me to click on him?

A) If Santa doesn’t work, the issue might be related to your browser’s pop-up settings. Follow these steps to enable pop-ups so you can make Santa clickable.

  • Click on your browser “Menu” (usually three dots or lines).
  • Click on “Settings”.
  • Search for “Pop-Up” in the Search Settings box.
  • Click on “Site Settings”.
  • Click on “Pop-ups and Redirects”.
  • Activate “Sites can send pop-ups and use redirects.”
  • Refresh the Find Santa page, and Santa should be clickable.

Q) Can I still play if I don’t have an Advent Calendar?

A) Yes, you can still play even if you don’t have an advent calendar. Register and follow us on LinkedIn or Instagram to access our daily clues.

Q) What do I do if I haven’t received my Advent Calendar?

A) While it’s rare for calendars to go missing, it does happen occasionally. If you haven’t received your calendar after three working days of registering, please get in touch with us at info@shorts-lifts.co.uk

Q) My colleague recommended Find Santa, but I don’t have their entry ID. Can I enter their name?

A) We’re unable to process recommendations without the Entry ID. Any names entered will not be counted as a grand prize entry.
